What's New — October 17, 2026

Connecting Facebook and Instagram now always lets you choose which Page to connect. Plans and onboarding previews also come through complete more often, even when an image or Pim's Visual DNA analysis runs into trouble.

Choose the right Facebook or Instagram Page

Facebook remembers the Pages you allowed before and sometimes skips its own Page picker. Picmim used to connect the only Page that came back, so if you managed a second business from the same Facebook profile you could end up with the wrong one. Now Picmim always shows you the list of Pages to choose from, and marks any Page that's "Already connected in another Picmim workspace".

If a Page is missing, open "Don't see your Page?" and choose "Pick different Pages" to go back to Facebook and tick every Page you manage. Keep your other Pages ticked: unticking a Page there stops its Picmim connections in every workspace.

More complete plans and previews

Fewer posts go missing from your plans. When two posts would have used a very similar image idea, Pim now moves one further down the plan instead of dropping it. When an image service refuses to make a picture for a single-image post, Pim makes a designed text card in your brand's style instead of losing the post. Images with a visible flaw, such as a warped product, get one more try, as do images interrupted by a dropped connection.

Visual DNA is more dependable as well: Pim's analysis of your look succeeds more often, and adding brand photos after it's ready no longer makes Pim start it again. For new users, if Visual DNA still can't be prepared, the onboarding preview's images are made without it rather than the preview failing, and if a carousel can't be made, you see three single-image posts instead.

If Pim can't open your website, it now says so and asks you to check the address or add your details yourself, instead of asking you to improve a profile it never managed to read. In Autopilot, retrying or steering your week now uses the accounts you have connected today, so a post planned for an account you've since disconnected no longer keeps failing.

Also improved

Posts with an empty first comment now publish without a warning that the comment failed, as the empty comment is simply skipped. If an iPhone photo in HEIC format can't be read, the upload stops straight away and asks you to export it as JPEG or PNG instead of trying again. The Plans list now shows the same number of posts as the plan itself. When Pim analyses a video in chat, it now keeps within the reply's time limit instead of sometimes stopping partway. If a page loads incompletely on a patchy connection, Picmim reloads it once for you. Visitors from Italy, Slovenia and Croatia now see a clearer suggestion, with their country's flag, to switch the site to their language. The post editor, media folders, plans that are still being made and your workspace home should also feel quicker.
