What's New — April 12, 2026

This release marks the start of a much more capable AI chat in Picmim. Instead of feeling like a simple prompt box, chat now behaves more like a working assistant that can help you plan, generate, refine, and track creative work inside the same conversation.

A real assistant workflow, not just a chat box

We introduced the assistant tool runtime and upgraded the chat timeline so the AI can do more than answer with plain text. Conversations now support richer task flows, clearer step-by-step progress, and a more structured sense of what the assistant is working on, which makes longer creative sessions easier to follow and trust.

Better planning, drafts, and creative continuity

The new chat experience is built to carry context forward more effectively. It supports stronger draft handling, better post preview flows, and a more continuous thread of references while you iterate. That means it is easier to move from an idea, to a plan, to multiple draft directions without losing the thread of what you were building.

Richer media-aware AI tools

We also expanded the assistant's creative toolbox around media. The new AI chat is designed to work more naturally with images, URLs, and media references, making it easier to pull visual context into the conversation, keep asset references connected, and support more visual content workflows inside chat.

A smoother experience across the product

Around the new assistant, we also improved onboarding, authentication, and mobile usability so the whole flow feels more polished from first login to daily use. Admin operations were consolidated, dashboard trends expanded to a broader 30-day view, and several publishing and editing edges were hardened across TikTok, LinkedIn, media handling, and smaller-screen layouts.
